Helping People Create Stability In Their Families Through Supportive, In-Depth Christian Therapy
I Specialize In Counseling Therapy For Christian Men And Women Struggling With Marital Strife, Parenting Challenges, Sexual Addiction, Depression, And Anxiety.
If you’re anything like the men I work with every day, you may be:
Struggling with self-esteem, loneliness, uncertainty
Walking on eggshells to avoid conflicts with your wife — and still ending up in really long arguments
Feeling stuck in a cycle of depression where you don’t feel good about yourself, feel tired / low energy, feeling bad about not accomplishing enough — and then feeling even more down on yourself
Wrestling with doubts about your faith (and perhaps feeling ashamed of those doubts)
Parenting a child with anxiety, depression, Reactive Attachment Disorder, or Oppositional Defiant Disorder
Dealing with anxiety and related physical symptoms of that (heart burn, constipation, muscle tension, or severe headaches)
Struggling with a sex or porn addiction you can’t seem to conquer
I Can Help. Let’s Walk This Road Together.
Hi. My name is Ben Dickerson. I’ve lived in AZ most of my life and have been married for 20 years. After spending many years in the Phoenix metro area, I currently live in rural Arizona with my wife, family, and a menagerie of animals.
After teaching at the K-12 and college levels for more than 20 years, I decided to change careers to become a counselor specializing in helping Christian men to create stability in their families by addressing marital strife, parenting challenges, sexual addictions, depression, and anxiety.
My personal journey as a Christian husband and dad of two beautiful children has helped me to understand the stresses that can come with being a Godly leader of the family. I have a deep desire to help men, women, children and teens with their mental health through a faith-based, Christian approach.
I split my time between counseling in the Phoenix metro area, and doing remote (telehealth) counseling for clients all over Arizona.
Outside of counseling, I love reading and listening to books, spending time with my family and friends, watching movies, and learning new things.

“What makes life difficult is that the process of confronting and solving problems is a painful one. Problems, depending on their nature, evoke in us frustration or grief or sadness or guilt or regret or anger or fear or anxiety or anguish or despair. These are uncomfortable feelings, often very uncomfortable, often as painful as any kind of physical pain, sometimes equaling the worst kind of physical pain… Yet it is in this whole process of meeting and solving problems that life has its meaning.”
— M. Scott Peck, The Road Less Traveled
